Prepare a reusable branded social asset

One template that still looks like your business after it has been reused.

Use the Adobe tool you already have. Official brand files beat a blank canvas.

Steps

1. 01

   Start from the brand, not from a trending layout

   Open the approved logo, colors, and type. If those files are missing, stop and gather them first. A template without the brand is just decoration.

2. 02

   Lock the parts that should never drift

   Logo placement, color, and type stay put. The photo, headline, and offer can change. That is the difference between a system and a one-off graphic.

3. 03

   Design for the smallest screen first

   If the name, the offer, and the next step are not readable on a phone, the asset is not finished.

4. 04

   Save a working file and a flattened export

   Keep an editable master. Export the version you will actually post. Name both so next week's version is obvious.

Common mistakes

• Downloading a random template that fights the brand colors.
• Putting the logo so small it disappears in the feed.
• Inventing a new typeface because it felt fresh that day.
